need help with windows size

I turned the computer on , and all the windows were inlarged, and the coloring is off some, have tryed to make them smaller, but they won't. is it a hardware problem or software. haven't add eighter one just started today, cant do much with internet because the windows are also to big and can't make them smaller eighter. please help have tryed everything but recovery disk and don't want to if dont have to. please help. thank you curtsty2

Sounds like a video driver problem. I would download the latest drivers for your video card and then try to change the display settings. You might also check out this forum forum602

Thanks alot for the info, i went back to backup and restored windows from old setting, that helped, but if it happens again i will try a new driver. thanks so much.
