I am having an issue getting a Short Code to work the way I would like it to. Here is some background on our setup.

We are using an IPO412 running software version 3.2(54)
We currently have a Short Code that displays our main phone number in Caller ID for all outgoing calls, something like:

Short Code: [9]xxxxxxxxxxx;
Telephone: Ns8105551234

Our internal extensions are 3 digit and do not correspond numerically to our DIDs.

I want to program Short Codes for our cell phones so that when a user inside the office calls one of our cell phones, it will show the users FULL did number.

For example, let’s say my cell number is 810-555-4444 and my DID is 810-555-8148. When I dial my cell from my desk I want the Caller ID to display 8105558148.

I have successfully been able to send my 4 digit DID by doing the following:

Short Code:[9]18105554444;
Telephone: 18105554444N

This will send 8148 as the Caller ID, however I want to send 9105558148.

So I tried:

Telephone: 18105554444s810555N Caller ID end result: 810555
Telephone: 18105554444s810555/N Caller ID end result: 810555
Telephone: 18105554444s810555/E Caller ID end result: 810555309 (my ext)

Anyone have any ideas on how I can accomplish this?

If you have a incoming call route for DID 8105558148 and the destination is your extension 309 then IP Office will send 8105558148 as CLI information if you start a call from 309.
The only thing is that in some countries not the whole DID is delivered by the telco, in that case you must use only use the received part as the DID number in the incoming call route.
You can find out with the monitor tool and filter only ISDN messages, then you can see the DID numbers received from the telco.
So basically you only need a proper set-up of incoming call route and a shortcode for the numbers you want to display your CLI to.
for example :SC = 8N,TN = N
If you want to call a number with your common CLI dial a 9 as access code, in all other cases dial a 8 as access code.

In our case they are only sending the last 4 digits, is there any way I can work around this?

Fill in the full DID number in the incoming call route, IP Office checks for a match from right to left so if the four received digits matches with the last four digigts of the DID number then the call will be presented to the programmed destination.

I figured it out thanks to intrigrant, I needed to change my incoming call routes from 4 digits to 10. I thought about that originally but I didn't think they would still work. They did. Thanks intrigrant.
