Need help with Query for Duplicate Addresses

Ok I know how to find duplicates thats not the tricky part. However the data I am trying to process has the address listings in a way that some maybe dupes however the format is veried.

Example:

100 Main St Apt 1
100 Main St Flr 1
100 Main St Apt A

All of these could be considered dupes, is there a way to create a query to allow for this variation?

Still hoping for an answer on this, to narrow it downa bit more thought.

Is there a way to have a query See the "APT and "FL" as the same string? Perhaps giving "FL" an alias of "APT

Well at least I'm stumped for a reason if no answers have been offered ;)
