Need help with Public folder tasks

Can someone tell me if the task list in public folders on the exchange server syncs with the task list in a users outlook profile?
For example... If I enter a task in outlook will it sysc with my public folder task list so a delegate can track another empolyee progress? If so, how can I turn this feature on?

I forgot to add: you can do such a mechanism, but that requires a shared taskfolder AND some discipline in using it properly.
