Hi everybody!

I hope all of you are fine and you had a nice X-Mas and a happy new year!

And here is my problem:

I want to write a trigger that drops a mySQL-database if someone executes an insert and the date is greater than...
let's say 12/31/2002. I am afraid that I have no idea about triggers in mySQL, I don't even know if I can do it with a trigger or if I have to use a stored procedure.

Could someone please help me? Perhapse with a little peace of example-code??

Thanx and bye!

the fact is there are NO triggers in MySQL.
Cheack the manual.html that you will find with your MySQL distribution.
I'm just confuse nobody told you since,
or you couldn't just be bothered to check the manual;-)
RTFM dawg...

it seems that the new version to come will support trigger... is it true ?!
