Need help with modifying a datapipe

Is there an easy way to determine what database table is being used by a datapipe report? I'm trying to substitute the terms code with the terms description on the POPOR01.RPT file, that calls the datapipe POPOPRN.DLL file. Any ideas?

Look for VIADESC. You cannot modify datapipes, they are compiled program files. You need to use a sub report if the field is not availble.

Isn't VIADESC the description of the Ship Via code? There is not a VIADESC field listed in the POPOPRN pipe. What database table is this report pulling from anyway? How can I determine that as well...

Sorry brain fart... it's not VIADESC, I was thinking about something else.
It is pulling data from POPORH1 (header), POPORL (detail) etc.

Thanks ettienne - I will take a look at that later today. How did you determine that it is pulling data from the POPORH1 and POPORL database tables - is this in the ini file, the datapipe file, where did you find this info? I need to do the same thing in the APCREQ11 report, except I will be adding the terms description field (1% 25 Net 45 Days) which I think I can handle, but again, I do not know what the name of the field is to add, like CODEDESC, nor do I know what tables the datapipe file associated with the ACPREQ11 report pulls data from, as you described for the PO report issue. Thanks in advance for your help.

For PO it is logical, the PO tables are POPORH1, POPORL, POPOR*, etc.
For the AP report you need to add APRTA to get the terms description, link on APVEN.TERMSCODE = APRTA.TERMSCODE and pull APRTA.CODEDESC.
Download a copy of the Accpac object model from the Sage website (I'm not sure where), or poke around the database until you find the information you are looking for.
