I'm using Crystal 11. I have a report that needs to show the details section and group footer 3 on one page. I have a page break after each GF3. This part is working correctly.

I need GF 4 to print on the same page as GF3 but it's printing alone on the next page before the details section starts again. I can get GF4 to print with GF3 on the last page by adding 'not onlastrecord' to the New Page After' formula button on GF3 but that's only one time. Any ides would be appreciated.

details
GF1 - SUPPRESSED
GF2 - SUPPRESSED
GF3 - SHOW (PAGE BREAK AFTER EACH FOOTER)
GF4 - show on same page as GF3 before the next page of the details and GF3, GF4, etc.

Hi,
These are conflicting instructions:
GF3 - SHOW (PAGE BREAK AFTER EACH FOOTER)
GF4 - show on same page as GF3 before the next page of the details and GF3, GF4, etc.

Sorry, this should be:

Details - SHOW
GF8 - SUPPRESSED
GF7 - SUPPRESSED
GF6 - SUPPRESSED
GF5 - SUPPRESSED
GF4 - SUPPRESSED
GF3 - Show - break after this group
GF2 - SHOW - this should show on same page as GF3 and details.

You need to remove the page break after the GF3 as Turkbear indicated.

If I do that then it won't be on a page by itself with the details. I need the details, GF3 and GF2 to be on one page. There might be several pages of detail, GF3 data before you hit GF2 data again. Here is an example.

Page 1 Data
D - Joe Smith
D- Jane Smith
D- John Smith
GF3 - Smith Agency (New Page After checked in section expert)

Page 2 Data
D - Joe Doe
D- Jane Doe
D- John Doe
GF3 - Doe Agency

Page 3 Data - I need it to display like this but GF2 prints on a page by itself.

D - Alan Keys
D- Diane Keys
GF3 - Keys Agency
GF2 - Smith/Doe/Keys Agency

Hi,
I repeat, if you check 'NEW PAGE AFTER' for section GF3, you get a new page after section GF3 and on that new page ( that you required ) is where GF2 would be displayed...

Just curious, why are you putting what looks like the Group Name in the Footer and not the header?

Okay, now I see. Use a conditional formula in the x+2 area for "new page after" on the Group Footer #3 section:

{table.group#2field} = next({table.group#2field})

This should result in a new page after EXCEPT when it is the last group #3 instance within group #2.

Thanks LB. It works now. Thanks for all your help.
