I've created a form using tabs for my subforms. My problem is that when the form is opened the subform takes up the screen and unless you know to use the vertical bar you can't see the tabs.
What I want is for the tabs to appear on the screen without having to scroll for them in order to see them.
thanks

Make your subform smaller.

Really, you'll have to make something smaller, or change the resolution your users will use.

No magic, just careful trimming.

Actually, htere's one bit I left out--in general, I don't use forms that require scrolling, unless it's a datasheet subform. I think they're hard on users. I prefer tabs or multiple forms.

Perhaps I didn't make myself clear. What happens is when the main form loads, it defaults to the subform and so the tabs get lost at the top margin forcing the user to scroll to the top of the form in order to see the tab. Someone opening the form for the first time wouldn't see the tabs or know there are there if they didn't know what to look for.
I need the form to default to the top of the main form so that the tabs show when the main form is opened

Carl,

OK, well I still think it'd be better to make it so your main form is small enough that it doesn't have to scroll, but...what is happening is that your subform is the first control in the Tab order with Tab Stop set to Yes. Change the tab order so that the focus will first go to another control, somewhere near the top of your form. That should do the trick. Check the help pages for Tab Order, if you've never played with this before.

Thanks, but what I did instead (after experimenting)is added a header, which pushed the whole thing down and moved the subform around inside the tab-page itself until the upper ruler of the subformed dissapeard. That's seemed to work.
Thanks anyways for responding and follwing up.
