Need help with Events 1053 and 5719

We've recently installed a member servers which has 2 NIC's. The two NIC's are bridged together, so the server is always accesed using the same IP address. However, I've noticed event ID's 1053 and 5719 appearing in the application and system logs. I ran netdiag and got the following:

All other tests passed

I tried browising to \\MyDomain*\MAILSLOT\NET\NETLOGON (although I've never heard of this before) but it wasn't found. If I try to browse to \\Mydomain.local\MAILSLOT\NET\NETLOGON then I get "Incorrect Function".

I read somewhere that this can be caused by having two NIC's - that they can't swap master browser info. But the document didn't mention anything about whether this would happen if they were bridged or not. Does anybody have any ideas on this?

Have u checked Eventid.net to see what other admins have done regarding this. You just might find a similar situation. Hope this helps.

Yea, I had a look, but everything seems to point to DNS or DNS suffix, and our DNS is fine - I've already checked that, and the servers are only using our internal DNS. Any other ideas?
