I am able to receive calls on my cell phone when they come in on my desk phone. How do I transfer calls from my desk phone to my cell phone? Also, when I call my desk phone from my cell phone it goes str8 to voicemail. What do I need to add to the public unknown numbering in order to get this to ring my phone? Thanks for the help.

To transfer the call to your cell phone, you have to add the extend call button.

The call goes straight to your coverage because your cellphone *is* your phone.
If you call your phone, from your phone, it will behave the same way.

I think you can avoid this by placing the prefix of you cellphone within the phone number field in the off-pbx-station mapping form, the system will still be able to dial out to your mobile, but the system won't recognize your cellphone as being an EC500 when you dial in.

How do I remove the ability to send office caller ID thru my ec500 phone? Everything seems to be working well now except this one part. It goes straight to voicemail when I call my office phone. I tried what you said and it did not seem to work. Thanks for the help.

why would you want to call your own phone? That doesn't make sence. If you not there, how can you answer?

Try removing the first 0 from you mobile number in Phone Number files and put the 0 in the prefix filed.

Shouldn't recognise your number then, other wise with hold the CLI on you mobile.

thx coxy I will give that a try...phoneguy55 maybe I want to for some reason...it is a known issue that can be resolved...just want to get it setup right for my clients...

Ok below is an excerpt from the doc on setting up ec500...it is listed in the troubleshooting section

When calling your
desk from your
EC500 phone
which sends office
caller ID, the calls
go directly to voicemail

The switch sees the EC500
phone which sends office
caller ID as your actual desk
phone, so it appears to be
calling itself and goes directly
to coverage.
Call your desk phone from a
different phone (one other than
the EC500 phone which sends
office caller ID).

Ask your System Administrator
to remove the ability to send
office caller ID from that EC500
phone.

Where do I accomplish this last part?

try experimenting with "mapping mode", on the "change off startion xxxx" form, there is "origination", "termination", "both" or "none". I think that will do what you want.
