need help with DBF and CDX specs

I program in an old version of Basic. I need to find file specs for DBF and CDX files to know how to import and export records directly into and out of these files. I can write a conversion routine if I have the precise detailed file specs. Thanks, Chip

If you have VFP 5, 6 or 7 installed, look for the FILESPEC directory - there is informaton there. If you have no VFP, go to
