I have an expanded 8x24 with a CLID trunk card. I have attempted to set up logging but it's not working. I currently have one set assigned to log all calls. It is logging the calls only if I answer the calls at that extension--otherwise, nothing. I have three incoming lines. They appear on all extensions. CLID info is shown automatically on ext. 221 only.

Ideally, I'd like to have all calls automatically logged at four extensions. (I'm trying to get it working at 221 first, then I'll add the other three!)

I have assigned 25 log spaces to all extensions in configuration programming. I did Feature*84 at ext. 221 and set for Log All Calls.

Any ideas?

The CLID information is showing properly on the extension it's assigned to, but the logging is not working. It is only logging calls after they are answered at that extension, even though it is set to Log All Calls.

I no longer have an 8x24 to play with, but under GEN. ADMIN, then 9-CALL SERVICES, then look to make sure you still have log space assigned for each logging set, and have not run out of space. Also make sure you do not have LOG PASSWORD set.

MRoberts is correct!
It does not matter how many phones you have to log caller ID..the 8X24 can only allow one set to have auto caller ID! if the others cannot have it then they simply cannot log un-answered calls because it does not show the call when the set is ringing to begin with.
I'm positive your second post is wrong and that it will only show the call ID once you answer it or the call is transfered.
Cheers!

Ext. 221 is set for auto call id. When a call comes in, it shows the name of the caller just after the first ring. It does not record this call in the call log unless I answer it at that station.

Log space is set to 25. There is no password. It is set to Log All Calls.

It is behaving as if it is set to log only answered calls.

How do I get it to log ALL calls at ext. 221 even if they are not answered?

Thanks!

Ugh, it sounds like you have everything set right.
I no longer have an 8x24 to play with. I miss it.
Anyone have a very cheap 8x24 to sell for lab work.
I hate to post an answer unless I can verify it.
