I want to know what's the easiest way to script a backup of the Active Directory to a NAS device.
I've read some threads on the forum on the scripting but have not found a helpful answer. Thanks.

You can use Windows backup tools to schedule a system state backup of the AD server and specify the location. This should meet your needs. Otherwise backup locally and then robocopy the file off to the NAS.

Keep in mind, system state backups are fairly easy to restore if you are restoring to the same hardware. The restore process is much more complicated if restoring to different hardware.

Thanks,
Andrew
