Need help with a formula 1

Using Project 2000
I made a custom column to give indicators to show if a task is real late, running ahead, or almost on time.
I have set up the custom column as follows:
I have a formula: (now()-DateValue(Finish)).
I have graphic indicators set up as follows:
greater than 2 (red frown)
less than or equal to 0 (green smile)
is any value <All> (yellow face)

Why are Summary tasks not affected using this formula?
The total is always zero.

I don't have P2000+ on this machine but, iirc, on the window that begins the process (it has the "formula..." button, there's a radio button that you have to click on to set it so that the formula also applies to the summary tasks.

If you can't find it, let me know and I'll check on my other machine later today/tonight.
