What is the best way to get a listing of patches installed.

Thanks in advance

Hi

My current version of OS is 5.1V

Is there a way to determine the current patch level and the patches installed on the system.

Thanks.

Hi,

setld -i will show all software installed. Patches start with OSFPATxxxxxxxxxx

Cheers,

You could also use dupatch to show what patches have been applied.

Steve,

File /var/adm/patch/log/event.log shows the history of installed patchkits.
File /var/adm/patch/log/session.log shows the logging of installing the patchkit.

Greetings André

setld & dupatch are the easiest ways...

but with dupatch it is nicer to read the individual patches etc....
to just list the kit name and level:

# dupatch -track -type kit

or to list ALL pathes with dupatch (same info as "setld -i|grep -i PAT, but i think nicer)

# dupatch -track -type patch
