Hello,

I'm having a problem saving out a large quark file. By the time it gets to page 12 I get a dialog box saying "Insufficient memory to rasterize a transparent element on page 12. reduce the flattening resolution in your output setting and try again"

I reduced the transparency setting to 72dpi and I still get the same message.

Help would be much appreciated!

thanks!

Hi quarkbeginner1
What operating system and version of QuarkXpress are you using?
Could it be that your comp needs more memory?
I haven't worked with layers and rasterizing but I wonder if you could use the Book feature in Quark to make several smaller files rather than one huge file.
This link might have some info on Quark 7 layers and rasterizing.

Hope this helps
