I'm having trouble programming a PRI using an AT+T T1, the telco requires that it be tagged with MEGACOM, I can get the International dialiing to work and the National to work but I can't get both to work, this is the info that telco provided for setting up the T1, T1framing=ESF
T1 line coding=B8ZS

Network Switch type=4ESS
ISDN D-channel (layer 2) Protocol=4ESS
23B-channels, 2-way, supporting voice only, TFM/MEGP.
1-D-channel/FAS arrangement.

Outgoing calls:
Trunk group set for call by call (CXC), cpe required to send NSF(network specific facility) for MEGACOM (hex 3), for all outbound calls.
LD-cpe must strip the leading "1", sending only NPA-NXX-XXX (10 digits only). Number format and plan should be National/ISDN.
International-cpe must strip the leading "011" sending country code+ number. Number format and plan should be International/ISDN
Calling Party Number (CPN) to network- cpe must generate outgoing CPN. AT&T does not send name, only number generated by CPE

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated

Look in the Special Tab for your PRI Line form. You will see the numbering format based on the digits dialed.

Asuming you have set the Provider type to ATT.

That's the problem using At&t as a provider. They over complicate the settings on their t-1's. I would say if you get it to work internationally, then it should work nationally. I think you may need to adjust a short code or ars table. If you can actually make an outgoing call, the protocol it is using to communicate with the at&t switch is fine. I think you have a digit routing issue. Double check your output digits (telephone fields) in the system shortcodes or ars depending what software level you are running. You may need to delete or add the digit 0 or 1 depending if you are testing national or international. It all depends on what At&t is expecting to see from your IPO. I spent a full day trying to get an At&t circuit working ounce. It took alot of tweaking to figure out what they needed. The At&t techs could not tell me exactly what they were looking for.

They do sound like an awkward bunch of c**ts to me, as bad as BT is in the UK at least we just say a PRI with X number of channels and the IP Office works out the box.

Hey everbody thanks for the suggestions, I was hoping I could find a config with this setup but so far no luck, if anyone has a config with this type of T1 programming and would not my sharing the T1 info I would appreciate it.

I have done it a few times. i will look to see what i can find. You needed special codes on the PRI line itself. You have to tell it 0N=I. let me see what i can find. i may be able to send a config if you put your email here. Make sure to spell it out.
