I'd like to setup a Win NT workstation with a dual boot system so on power up it would give me a choice of Win NT or Windows 98, Win NT being the default and maybe a timed choice. Also if possible a password on the windows 98 boot.
Is this possible?

Could any one give me advice on where to start, I've never done dual boots before.

Is there a simple avaiable program to do this?

Thank you for any help

Is sounds like you have some computer knowledge, which will help you through this process. Obviously Windows 98 uses FAT32 and Windows NT uses NTFS so you need to seperate partitions. Using FDISK, make the NTFS partition active. This, however, does not let you duel boot just yet. Go to and find a boot loader.
