Hi there (forgive my english writing pls!)

I have to PCs at home:

PC A) Windows XP Home Edition running Internet Connection Sharing.
PC B) Windows 98

PC A has two cards, one directly connected to Internet and the other to a hub.
PC B has one card connected to the hub.

PC A & B are Windows Updated.

Here's the problem which does not let me sleep at night!

I can perfectly browse every site with PC A, but I have problems browsing some sites on PC B. Either, MSN does not work on PC B.
DNS works OK and if I PING an URL (vg it responds, but I cannot browse the site.

Here's what I did to troubleshoot but did:

I connected PC B directly to Internet and it worked perfectly well, so the problem is not on PC B.
I tried both static IPs and DHCP: 192.168.x.x. and 10.0.0.x
Gateway for PC B is PC A IP Adrress.

What can I do now? Any suggestion?

Thanks a lot!!!!

Probably something to do with XP restricting connections from the Hub. Have a look in the Internet and Internet Sharing Applets to see for any settings you may have missed.

Hi DragonQ0105,

Whould you bring some more details on your answer?

No idea of what Internet Sharing Applets are.

Thanks!

Rgrds, Gadonay.
