Need Help on Summary

Hello friends,
this is my case

Example:
ZONE Case Volume
AB AB01 10
AB AB01 20

For this Case I should Get Total Volume 30

ZONE Case Volume
AB AB01 10
AB AB02 10

For this case I should get Volume 10

ZONE Case Volume
AB 10
AB 10
AB AB02 10

For the above one Case is blank in some case in this case I should get 20.

Basically I should summary the volume only if Case is same under Each Zone. My only problem is If there is mixed cases like the last example I am not able to get any idea.

i think you want to create a formula field that contains zone and case and then group by that formula field. Then create a summary for volume based on that group.

Yeah I tried that and did a running total but still it dosent work.

mintman, please do not post the same problem multiple times. You should clarify within the original post.

I think you should create a formula to use instead of the {table.case} field:

if isnull({table.case}) then "ZZZZ" else {table.case}

Then you should be able to proceed.

Im sorry, I figured there was a different field I can use that as condition in running total.

I don't know what you mean. You should be using the formula in the evaluation section by choosing "on change of field: {@formula}".

Or by inserting a group on the formula and choosing "on change of group: {@formula}".

Actually I evaluated on chnage of record Called AISLE, and I did a group on zone. So I Gave reset on change og Grop (Zone). It works fine now. Sorry I was not clear before.
