need help on getting app file execute

hi all,

i'm new here and i urgent need help on how to get the application file executed. i'm using borland c++ builder-6.


problem:
1)click on exe file, show missing dclusr60.bpl
2)then i opened project file, show TCDKImage missing, i ignored it and go into the project file.
3)then i goto Component->install component, fill in Unit-file-name:dclusr.cpp and Package-file-name:dclusr.bpk
4)i click exe file again and it says can't find dclusr60.bpl

i check Bin directory, no dclusr60.bpl

please help !! thank u very much.

How are you compiling your Exe? What options do you have on? Look at faq101-187 and faq101-189.

hi 2ffat, thx for the reply.

actually the completed project is done by other ppl. he sent me the s/ware installer and the project folder. he is away and not able to contact him.

after Component-> install component, fill in Unit-file-name:dclusr.cpp and Package-file-name:dclusr.bpk, then box came out (Package-dclusr.bpk), i just click compile there, and install to create dclusr.bpi file.

sorry .. i'm beginner and know very little abt bcd6. thanks again.
