I have DirectX 9 installed in my computer, but when I ran dxdiag, I noticed that some of the components, namely Direct3d, is still version 7. I tried installing DirectX 8.1 because I cannot find my installer of DX9, but still nothing changed. How do you properly install DirectX or possibly revert to an older one just so that all of its components will be all of the same version?
