Need help installing Oracle 6i Forms and Reports

I've come into an office where this older version of Oracle (without the OUI) is deployed on approx 100 PCs. Because the infrastructure exists, they would like to continue to use this software. So, I need to be able to deploy it quickly on future PCs with an automated install.

Anybody out there have any tips or instructions? I'm lost on how to start.

P.S. I saw ghosting mentioned in a similar post. Unfortunately, that will not be an option for me. Not for any good reason, but simply because of office politics.

I should mention that we need only very specific components (6.0.8.11.3 [or whatever the # is] runtime components), so it must be a custom install.

Could you do an install, then zip the contents and use that to unzip for future installs?

I want to be good, is that not enough?
