I am running Aix version 5L

I have downloaded the netscape.gz file from Netscapes website, I have ran the gzip -d command on the file and after it runs this is the message i get:

# gzip -d communicator-v479-us.ppc_rs6000-ibm-aix4.tar.gz

gzip: communicator-v479-us.ppc_rs6000-ibm-aix4.tar: No space left on device
#

What do I have to do to fix this? Am I doing something wrong?

Please help me :)

Thanks!

Also when i do a errpt it returns this:

#errpt

IDENTIFIER TIMESTAMP T C RESOURCE_NAME DESCRIPTION
369D049B 0329130502 I O SYSPFS UNABLE TO ALLOCATE SPACE IN FILE SYSTEM
#

How much space do you have in the file system in which you are trying to install Netscape? To find this out do a
Code:
df -Ik
. This will show the total space, used space, and free space on all your filesystems.

Report this back and we can determine what needs to be done. Einstein47

I got past that problem, I increased the space in my FS but now after I ran the executable install program when I click on netscape it tells me to modify the enviroment and make sure that MOZILLA_HOME=/my installed directory, well netscape is installed in /opt/netscape

so how do i go about editing the enviroment so i can make MOZILLA point to that directory?

Thanks For the Help!
