HI ,

We are loading flat files from Mainframe to staging area and all flat files are of different file structure some files are complete and some are mutations files. We have to calculate the mutations by comparing the mutation file with previous day complete file and create one mutation file and complete file at staging area and same for complete source files as well.

Well the question is-> Can we make Generic design in Informatica to calculate mutations for all files or you can say a reusable transformation(resuable mapping) that we can use for every file structure mapping even if the file structure are different ?

If answer is yes then please let me know how can we proceed for that.

Thanks in advnace,
Nikhil

Hello,

The most powerful in Informatica is to use Reusable as you can. For calculate "mutations" take one aggregator transformation.

See you
