I have 3 separate DDI`s pointed to 3 different name tag hunt groups.
I need these 3 DDI`s forwarding calls to 1 mailbox at Night.
How can i set this up please.

Thank you in advance.

I do not like to use Nametag Groups.

Be aware that is a user chooses not to leave a message and dials another extension or dials zero the call will ALWAYS route back to the 1 mailbox no matter what.

Are these DDI's doing anything differently during the day or is their sole purpose to route to the one mailbox?

If they are doing something different, what might that be?

What is your SW level.

during the day calls are router to 3 different ring groups.
so, the purpose of the name tag HG is just to display the name of the DDI to the users.

DDI 0207xxxxxxx - name tag HG 200(Sales) - Day RG 2100
- Night name tag HG 201 (always forward to VM)

Ext VM box 201

You do not need to make it a nametag to display the name

RG1 - DN = 201
RG2 - DN = *201
RG3 - DN = #201

With the above numbering, each of those Ring Groups will route to MB 201 when presented to VM

Thanks for the info.
i`ll test this.

do i have to setup any reroute on those 201,*201 & #201 RG`s ?
what is the other method of displaying the name without using name tag HG`s please.

thanks

The name will display on a ring group if you program a name against the group. Nametag forces the system to maintain the name for it's entire progress through the system if transferred or forwarded. If you only need the members of the ring group to see the name when the call is answered then nametag is not required.

Once a nametag ALWAYS a nametag. This can cause unexpected issues

e.g. You answer a call at the ring group and transfer it to ext XXX. The expectation is that if XXX does not answer, MB XXX will pickup the call. With Nametag, the call will be forced to return to the mailbox associated with the Nametag Group.
