Hi there. I need to free up a couple of extensions on the Partner switchboard and there are three phones that don't need to use separate extensions on the board, so I am looking to fee up two extensions using one with three phones attached via a coupler or adapter. Problem is that a generic adapter with three ports only works in an extension port on the board when one phone is plugged into it. When another phone is plugged into it, both won't work.

Is there a special adapter or attachment that can be used to do this? I know I can pool extensions together but my objective here is to free up a couple of extensions for other use rather than buy another module. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thank you!

You cannot have more than one Digital Phone per port.

You can use one digital and analog phones or all analog phones on a port though.

The digital phones need power to work and each port will only support enough power to work one phone. As you can see, plug two in and neither work.

It's a hybrid. It will support analog telephones (which the Partner phones are not and do require power/ 2 pairs of wire to work properly).
