Need Drivers for "USB Datacable" (came with Samsung D500)

I bought a set that allows data transfer from the D500 Phone to the PC - it came with a cable that has a USB Plug one end, and a special plug the other end (that plugs into the phone). However, Windows can't find drivers for the CABLE (the phone isn't even plugged in - I just plug the USB end into the PC, and it finds a "USB Datacable", but can't find drivers for it).

Where can I find one? Thanks for any help.

The drivers should have come with the set. I bought a similar datacable for my Samsung A670 and it came with a mini-CD that had the drivers on it.

I got a CD, but it only had sample ringtones on it, no drivers. The drivers must be available somewhere on the internet, surely?

The driver file may be something as simple as an .INF file. Are you positive that it's not there?

No, I did a *.* search of the CD, all the files are mp3s.

I'm not sure if the driver is cable-specific or not. Who makes it and where did you get it from? I can check mine out when I get home tonight and see if it is the same.

It has no branding on it, but has a warranty sticker.

I got it from:

(Samsung D500 USB Data Cable & Software Suite)

However, the cable I have doesn't look exactly the same - the USB Plug on the website picture is a different shape (indicating it has electronics in it), whereas mine has the normal USB Plug shape.

No - they are PHONE Drivers. I have those drivers installed, but the PC won't detect the phone because it can't access the actual "DATACABLE" because it has the yellow question mark next to it in Device Manager.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I need the CABLE Drivers...

Have you tried uninstalling the device then having the phone connected to the data cable when you turn the computer on?
