Need direction on listboxes 2

I have been searching for sometime how I construct an HTML listbox which will display the row content of a MySql database, based on a query. Even if without query, how does one fill a listbox. I can then move on to how one posts a selection from listbox. Have someone leaning over me thinking why am I taking so long! Many thanks

I have modified the last code to include other fields etc, but now want to run the code in blocks (ie seperate lists) using different front end queries to the database. I tried cutting and pasting the code so I had two identical listboxes, for some reason List 2 repeats itself? Something like a variable is not getting cleared before its being used again, any suggestions? Thanks

Try moving the code to its own routine and pass in parameters for the stuff that changes, like the condition to fill the list box and the handle to the list box itself.
