Hello to all.
I have designed a web site and i need to add some database functionallity.What Database do i choose?I need to store bitmaps or jpg and then the web page retrieve the additional information from the database and show the photo.What database shall i choose ?How can i make an administrative application to upload and add the new photos to my web site?Can you help me with this Case study?How can i upload then the database and make it work?What are the implementation files that i need?
I need instructions and free code if it is available.

does your host allow you to use CGI, PHP, Perl, other languages?

Yes .I have rented enough space,with other words i have bought the enterprise version which supports all these.Databases scripts,javascripts flash CGI, PHP, Perl etc.What can i do?
 
You're looking to produce some sort of slideshow/photo album system, right? You can find lots of ready-made Perl scripts at I'm sure similar resources exist for ASP, PHP etc.

Even if you don't find a script that perfectly fits your requirements, looking at the code will give you some clues on the way to go.
