Hello,
I have a question, probably dummy…
I have a

Router 2514 = connected to the 2950 using the E0
Switch catalyst 2950G-12 = connected to the 2950 using the FA0/1 and connected to the 2501 using the FA0/6
Router 2501= connected to the 2950 using the E0
I want to ping the 2501 from the 2514.
From the 2950 I can see the routers (sh cdp ne) 2514 and 2501
From the 2514 and 2501 I can only see the switch…
Do I need to create a sub interface on the switch ?

Is any body have a basic config that I can use ?
Thanks,
Max

Make sure to set the switch ports on the switch to speed 10 and half duplex to match the routers you are using or you will have problems. Are the two routers in the same subnet? How is the switch configured? Would really need to see what you have so far to be of help.

have you assigned both routers an ip in the same subnet so that they can ping each other at layer3?

the layer2 seems fine between the switch and both routers...
