I am new at this we have UCM 6 with 12 pri`s is there a way to notify us when say 70 percent of the b channels are in use dont know if this is possible instead of waiting till we get complaints of all trunks busy????

Have your local provider run a traffic study on the PRI's.

I would find it rather odd that with 12 PRI's, thats 276 lines that you would have any trouble.

Do you really have that many lines or is this a fractional pri with 12b channels?

This ucm is for a major city with 3500 ipphones including uccx.
If a phone number is published for a new city feature they tend to get alot of calls about it....

CUCM does not have anything to provide proactive alerts about utilization of PRIs, etc...

You can do after the face analysis using CDR Analysis and Reporting tool which will provide nice graphs of use, calls placed, received, etc..

If you need proactive alerting, will probably need to use a network monitoring system of some type.
