Hi,

For some reason I am having trouble placing a bitmap image in back of a few vectors and shapes.

The vector's object properties are the following:

Selection: 1 Objects Selected
Layer: Back
Type: Curve

The bitmap's object properties are the following:
Layer: Top
Type: Bitmap

I am guessing the issue lies in the Layer field; I will have to switch them somehow. However, will switching the layers of top and back solve the problem?

If not, then how can I do it?

I'd appreciate any insight on this matter.

Try putting everything on the same layer, and then put the bitmap to the back using Arrange - order

However, I don't know how I should do that. I am a bit new in Corel Draw (although an expert in most other graphical programs).

This is for V10 but I don't think it has changed too much. Go to Windows-dockers-object manager. This will give you a docker with the layers. Bottom left of this docker you will see an icon (3 stacked sheets)this will give you a new layer, pick up you object using the central cross point, drag onto new layer (cursor turns into arrow)this will put the object onto the new layer. Layers can be chaged to view/locked/print etc. New objects on your drawing may go onto this layer if it is the red one, double click on the layer you want to be your default. A new drawing will put objects on layer 1.
Hope this makes sense, on reading it I'm confused and I know how it works.

Thank you! It works like a charm.
