my computer keeps saying you have performed an illegal operation and I have no clue why or what to do about it!!

One thing I do when this happens is to shut down and re-boot because this is the easiest. If this doesn't work, reinstall the program. This is more work and you ahve to be careful that you don't lose your data files. They should be in a different folder. I use the WIN "add/Delete" feature sometimes but prefer to use Norton "Uninstaller".

These procedures are ususally easier than trying to figure out what the illegal operation was.

Could I have some extra information about your system and the program you are trying to run.

It would be a great help so I can give you better advice.
