need advice routing email to proxy

currently, my proxy and ms exchange 5.5 are on the same server. I would like to move my proxy to another server. What kind of setting must be set ( such as routing for the exchange server to see the internet ) in order to not have any down time ( or minimal downtime ), I was thinking of using Anolog X proxy.

Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas on how to go about doing this.

look at interscan viruswall & proxy.
interscan from trend & proxy from microsoft.
if you have back office 4.5 then you have proxy 2.0 on it.
look in the msp folder.
