How do I put get access to someone's c drive? This is for business admin purposes. I want to add myself in case I need to go over the network to get into a c drive.

for.....
Wind 2000 Pro?
XP Pro?
Win 98?

Thanks,

oops, sorry that was a typo. I just need to put myself on the access in addition to the main user.

You must have local or domain admin rights on the remote PC.

If you do, you can access the remote c: drive from the run command or Internet Explorer;
type.
\\computername\c$
Click Ok

If you have rights, you will see the contents of the remote pc's C: drive.

To give youself rights,
In XP, you must add yourself as a local administrator through Control Planel>User Accounts

In W2K, Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Users & Groups

no requrement for Win98.

Thanks,
Scott
