My receptionist would like to get some kind of device to enable her to answer the phone when she is not by her desk. She doesn't want a headset or anything that would have to go in her ear. Is there such a thing as something like a pendent that she could wear around her neck to answer phones? I'm not sure how to phrase this when searching so I figured I'd see if anyone here knows of such a thing.

That link lists a few but consider how it then connects to the phone in the end and what phone features you will not be able to use such as answer or disconnect.
Or Earbuds instead of over the ear if that is the issue.
