I need to install an external MOH device on a SV9100.
I don't see an RCA jack option specifically labeled MOH, just aux. ports.
Where would I plug in a USB player to the KSU?

If external Background Music (BGM) or Music on Hold
(MOH) is being installed, plug the cable into the AUX1 or
AUX2 pin jack connector on the GCD-CP10. The other end
of the cable plugs into the music source.

Right out of the hardware manual. I suspect 10-04 needs to be adjusted as well.

Hey Belevedere, I'm currently troubleshooting a MOH device for a 9100 as well. I followed the instructions in the manual and have my MOH device plugged into AUX2. 10-04 is all configured as well as 10-21 (AUX2 MOH and AUX1 BMS). When it didn't work I mirrored the settings from a system(SV9100) I have working (i didn't set it up) but the new one I did set up is still silent when put on hold. Any other ideas or things I may have missed?

Each 9100 I config uses AUX2 for the MOH source. Then in 10-04 I change it to External. My music on hold has an RCA out to AUX that I use. I've found if I don't use the cable that comes with the system, it wouldn't work (a mono cable vs a stereo cable). I use an IntelliTouch OHP8000 -- the USB plugs into the OHP system.

As far as the silence -- does the internal music work?

Worked like a charm. Thanks!!
I am amazed that NEC still uses the same crappy "carnival" type music that they used with the old NEC Pro I and Pro II. I would have though that a couple of decades might have produced an upgrade.
