Hi, I have an NEC SV8100 system with multiple customers on it with each customer have their extension numbers. some want to have their on hold music source. I know that I have to use a PGD(2)-U10 box which gives me 2 channels. How can I program music on hold per customer so each customer will have their own custom on hold music when callers are put on hold. In other words, how can I program Music On Hold on a per customer bases?

Thanks,

Use MB 14-08 to assign the trunk to the ACI port. For analog trunks, the trunk is dedicated to the ACI port. So each customer would need to have their own trunks, not shared. DID translation tables allow you to set the ACI for a specific incoming DID number.

Thank you belevedere, My system has T-1 and I can not control incoming calls from the Telco. Calls could be coming on any trunk. I see that I can do it by DID but what happens when the person with a non-DID extension calls out and puts the call on hold. I also have an NEC 2000IPS which I can make the MOH on a per tenant basis and I was hoping I can do something similar on the SV8100 so I can control the MOH on a station basis.

Thanks

The 2000 IPS and SV-8100 are very different systems. They do not share the same feature list WRT tenants and MOH. I do not believe you can do MOH by station on the SV8100.
