Sorry, trying to understand what you mean. Does the extension only dial longdistance or there are specific long distance numbers this extension dials that you want to eliminate the need for the code for? The SV 8100 is very flexible and can probably do what you want but in order to assist, we may need more information on what you are trying to achieve.
Hope this works and is better clarification, I appreciate the response.
All of our users that are authorized have a long distnace code if they need to call long distance ( it's a hotel if that matters). But our GM has a private office so he would like to turn off the feature of having to dial a long distance code for only his specific extension. I don't know this phone system very well obviously. Does this help better explain what I am asking?
Depends on what type of code they are using. There is a couple ways to override toll restriction, it could be forced and verified account codes or a toll restriction override password. Best way is to find the code they are dialing in the system numbering plan. Then once you know which method they are using, you can remove it from the GM's extension.
I will have to look at this when he gets back,he is away until May 10th. I can't find what long distance code he is even using which makes me wonder if he is using someone elses.
Is this something I would change here?
Override code would be needed for every long distance call.
To get rid of it, look and see what class of service the phones are in and move the GM to a new class. You can create a separate toll restriction class too if you want to still block 1-900, 976, 0+ etc but allow regular long distance without the use of a code.
