NEC SL2100 When I press the speaker button I get a double tone 1

NEC SL2100 - When I press the speaker button I get a double tone.
I can't tell what is causing it. There are no missed calls or voicemail messages that haven't been listened too.

Check to see if the phone is set to call forward. That gives you a stutter tone.

Ok, thanks. It is call forwarded to voicemail. Until I get up to speed on the system, I don't know all of it's little idiosyncrasies.
