Hi, I'm trying to setup a new system using an SL2100 and AP400s DAPs, however I can't get the SL2100 DHCP server to work.
I have the below settings:
10-12: CPU Network
01: 0.0.0.0
02: 255.255.255.255
03: 0.0.0.0
05: Auto
07: 0.0.0.0
08: unticked
09: 172.16.0.10
10: 255.255.255.0
11: Auto
13/14: 0.0.0.0
15: 53
17: MDI
18/19: 1450
20: disable
10-13 DHCP server mode is enabled 10-63 is disabled

ANy help would be much appreciated

Nec tech support always tells us not to use DHCP on the controller as it is not reliable.

Did you save, logout and reset the system? Don't think I have ever used DHCP on the 2100.

I am using the DHCP on the system as the customer has only a small budget and didn't want to spend on a seperate server, and yes I have saved, logged out and reset the system several times.

Ok, well then have them (or you) go to Goodwill and buy a 3 dollar linksys router.

@CoralTech thank you for the wake up call. I had got fixated on getting the DHCP to work from the controller and ended up down a rabbit hole. I have started from fresh using an old router from my cupboard and all seems to be working now.
