Hi guys.
I’m currently setting up Auto Attendant on a NEC SL100 telephone system.I’m using the InMail feature for this.
Everything seems to be working fine except , when I call in listen to the guidance message and press e.g. 2 to call ext 203, the extension rings but when I hang up the call (so I’m not answering at the handset) the extension keeps ringing for another 14-19 seconds and then it stops.
The line is still shows as busy on the handset for about a minute then ext 203 gets an empty voicemail.
If I leave the handset ringing for about 8 times the voicemail kicks in which is fine but when the extension don’t answer and the caller doesn’t want to leave a message the extension still gets a voicemail.
Any help would be much appreciated.
