NEC SL1100 Auto attendant voicemail issues

Hi guys.

I’m currently setting up Auto Attendant on a NEC SL100 telephone system.I’m using the InMail feature for this.
Everything seems to be working fine except , when I call in listen to the guidance message and press e.g. 2 to call ext 203, the extension rings but when I hang up the call (so I’m not answering at the handset) the extension keeps ringing for another 14-19 seconds and then it stops.
The line is still shows as busy on the handset for about a minute then ext 203 gets an empty voicemail.

If I leave the handset ringing for about 8 times the voicemail kicks in which is fine but when the extension don’t answer and the caller doesn’t want to leave a message the extension still gets a voicemail.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Have you got analogue lines connected to the system??
 
Try to activate the busy tone detection feature.
You must check with service provider about your country busy tone detection frequency.

Example below for our country with busy tone detection information is 500ms/500ms ON/OFF and frequency is 450Hz

1. Analog Trunk Setting
PRG14-12-09: busy tone detection for trunk to trunk: 1 – enable
PRG14-12-18: busy tone detection on talking: 1 – enable
PRG14-12-19: busy tone detection frequency: 3
PRG14-12-20: busy tone detection interval: 10 (1000ms) this item defines the busy tone period (500ms +500ms)

2. Call progress tone detector setup

PRG80-04-06: 14 (formula: 30x14+30 =450ms)
PRG80-04-07:17 (formula: 30x17+30=540ms)
PRG80-04-08:14
PRG80-04-09:17

3. Call porgress tone detector frequency
PRG80-07 -1 =45 (450Hz)
