NEC SIP Phone (itl-12d) to Avaya Session Manager 1

So on this old thread:

I see that someone asked this same question back in 2013, what I am wondering is has anyone successfully done this in 2018? I find myself in this boat, as we have a site that is NEC they want to bring over to Avaya (Getting rid of the NEC PBX) but retain the SIP phones... I am hoping someone has done this before and has some notes/thoughts/ideas.

Any help will be appreciated!

You need to re-flash the phones to standard SIP. I believe you can use "pumpkin" to do it. The file is too big to attach. I can try it with drop box, but I will need an e-mail address.
