Hi, bit of a long shot, just wondered if someone had tried this.

I'm trying to connect the NEC SIP DECT (SV8100 DECT Access Point AP300S)to an Panasonic NCP 500.
Yep, a bit mad, but we had some spares from stores and if it works would make a nice cost effective solution.

I've registered a couple of DECT handsets to the DAP and have configured the DAP to try to register with the virtual SIP card on the NCP.
Wireshark shows the DAP trying the registration but getting a 403 response from the NCP (both on port 5060
I havn't figured out all the setting in the "Advanced SIP Settings" on the DAP, this might be where it's going wrong??

All the licences are correct (other SIP phones register to the NCP) and all the software is at latest release.

Any ideas?
Thanks,

would the dap be trying to reg with the system as a trunk/gateway?

Hi,
Thanks for the replies,
In the Wireshark traces I can see the DECT extension numbers coming through so I reckon it's trying to register as SIP extensions.

Having anoher go today, I'll see how it goes.
Thanks.
