For bridge conferencing, we have 4 locations. At the host site, we use an analog connected Polycom SoundStation 2w (wireless) and the 3 remote sites use an NEC IP dterm on speaker for conference calls. The sound quality is very poor (even when remote sites are muted) and when someone speaks their voice is faint for all locations. No matter what bridge service we use, we have the same issue in that everyone cannot hear each other loud enough.

What could be the issue? What things should we try to help the sound quality?

Thank you

Try to set the IP dterm on 100mb Half duplex

It works! Now if only I could remember what I did...

Half duplex will amplify the sound quality on the IP phone?
I will test this out.

What is a "bridge service"? Is this the conference card, basic CPU conference, or a conference service offered by an outside company/equipment?
Depending on the connection your solution is probably an adjustment to CM 42 (or to CM 67 for the IP) to change the padding and allow for more volume on the specific type of connection.
