Hi guys,

I need to help because I'm newbie in PABX!

How could I block phone calls to numbers that start with 0300?

There is how do this?

Is this an incoming or outgoing number? Are you using LCR to process your ougoing call traffic?

Is an outgoing number.
Sorry, I don't know what is LCR. Can you explain me?

LCR = least cost routing. Through programmed tables, it can add/strip/restrict outbound calling. And choose the least costly trunk route, when busy automatically rolls over to the next designated trunk rout within the programmed tables. You need to clarify your request. Exactly what are you dialing?
AC + OC + number?
EX: 9, 1214 555 1234

I am dialing the following:

1# + AC + 0 + number (0300 11521221)

Then, if number start with 0300... I want block outgoing call.

Can you log into the system (cat mode) and if there is a password, do you know it?

If you can log in, what is 1# (1B) set to in cmd 200?

Hi OzzieGeorge,

I can log into system.

The result was the following:

COMMAND=200
200>1B
200>1B:A086-

A086 = authorization code. Exactly what are you dialing?
Is it something like this-- 1# + authorization code + 9 + 0300xxxxxxxx

Belvedere

Ut is shown in an earlier post, I suspect the OP isn't in the US as the line access code is 0

Heitir3990

What do you get in cmd 200 for 0?

belevedere,
I'm dialing the following: 1# + authorization code + 0 + 0300xxxxxxxx

OzzieGeorge,
In cmd 200 I get this:
COMMAND=200
200>0
200>0:A126-

Ok so the first question is, is there another number that is set the way you want this one to be (if there is we can compare the two and set this one the same). Check out this FAQ and see if you can follow it....

note that your access code is 0 not 9 as in the FAQ. If you still need help, post back with your question.

Currently there isn't numbers blocked. I will try follow the FAQ... Thanks!

Guys,

I followed the FAQ and got these results:
200>0:A126-

8AA000>0:4005-

8A4005>0300:0003-

8A0003>1:00314-

I tried call to number that start with 0301xxxxxx and this do not was possible, so I used this command: 8A4005>0301:NONE-
Here is my question: Can I just insert 'CCC' EXE for don't permit phone call with 0300xxxxxx ?
Ex: 8A4005>0300:0003-CCC

I believe that would do the job but remember it will prevent anything beginning 0300. So make notes on what you are doing so that if needs be you can put it back. However when you change it, you don't have to worry as it will only be in the running memory, so a simple system reset will clear your changes. With the IPS you have to save the changes to Flash memory to lock them in. If you are using matworx it will prompt you to save to flash when you go to disconnect, if you aren't sure just exit without saving, then when you are log back in and as you log back out it will prompt you again. If you are doing this from a phone the command to save to flash is EC6 if you don't have a manual post back and we will give the details you need. A word of warning though as many get caught out by previous programmers not doing a flash backup Ideally you should do a flash backup before you make any changes or you could find you recover to a point way back in time and things no longer work the way they did before you started.

Let us know if you get a good result

FYI, the system is defaulted to do an automatic flash back up at 2AM every day.

Must be a continental difference then as I have suffered the fate once here when doing conversion to ISDN from PSTN, did a system reset and lost customized incoming ring tone that had been in place for ages. As that is something not normally changed in my neck of the woods, it took me a while to find it and re program.

Well, I made the following change:
COMMAND=8A4005
8A4005>0300
8A4005>0300:0003-CCC
OK

Now if I try to dial 1# + authorization code + 0 + 0300xxxxxxxx the phone call does not complete.

I believe it's solved.

I really appreciate your help belevedere and OzzieGeorge.

Thanks! See you later!
