On one of our manager’s phones, she needs to see each of her employees phone on her DTR-32D phone. The problem that we are running into is that she cannot tell when one of her employees is on the line, or if the line has been placed in DND. Is there not a way to make a difference in her buttons. Can you have one the line show the green light on the button and DND show a red light on the button? Or even let one of the feature flash ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The Red LED on the DSS or Station with a DSS key should flash for a phone in DND. The red LED should be solid when busy. Make sure the DSS keys are programmed as such on the 32 button set. They are probably just assigned as a line key on the phone.

how would I go about making sure that they are programed right? I think they are just setup as line keys on the phone.

Thanks again

How would I program a button on a DTR-32d phone to be a DSS button for a specific extension.

I am trying to do this so that my Supervisor can see when an employee is on the phone (solid red) or DND (flshing red)

Thanks once again..
