WE HAVE A NEC ELITE WHICH RANDOMLY JUST POWER CYCLE ITSELF FOR ABOUT 20 SECONDS SO IT IS NOT A FULL POWER CYCLE.

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS WHAT IS HAPPENING?

20 seconds sounds about right for a reboot. you need to get a local tech to look at it as it could be many things.

sorry about the all CAPS. :)
We had two different tech out and neither company has seen it before.

One other thing we notice this morning if boss intercom another ext the system reboots.

Did neither company try swapping out any cards? If you can swap the card the boss's phone is connected to with another of the same type and see if the fault moves. also try swapping the station with another (less likely to be the cause). Have you power cycled the system, the danger there though is that if it is a PSU fault, it might not come back.

You will have to go through a process of elimination, lets just hope it isn't the CPU. However the fact that the boss's phone seems to be causing it is promising, you may have to also test the boss's phone at the frame to rule out a cabling fault.
